It’s the most common variety of basil with a wonderful spicy aroma. It is typically used in pesto and tomato-based dishes.
Plant in a sunny area and keep soil moist. Pruning off the tallest flowers as soon as possible will encourage foliage growth and keep the plant going strong. The leaves should be picked when the plant reaches 6 to 8 inches tall. When harvest early in the morning, the leaves are juicer.

Herb Description and Taste
This mint, rather than spearmint, gives the authentic mojito taste. Mojito Mint has a much milder flavor. While recipes call for any available variety of Spearmint, the real mojito can only be made with the true Mojito Mint.
Mint plants need about 1 to 2 inches of water every week, depending on the conditions. This includes both rain and your supplemental watering.
Herb Description and Taste
Both the flowers and leaves can be eaten and have a pleasant yet slightly bitter flavor. Lavender is most often used as a condiment, added to dishes to enhance the flavor, just like a spice.
The plant is not picky and will survive in a wide range of soil, even poor soil. Its main requirements are lots of sun and also good drainage.
