Herb Description and Taste
Lemon balm is in the mint family. Lemon balm is a strong, aromatic herb used commonly to infused oils, teas, syrups and sauces. Fresh leaves reveal a sweet lemon zest taste with a hint of mint
Lemon balm plants will grow in part shade to full sun, but flourish best in full sun. Water deeply enough to saturate the roots, and then allow the top of the soil to dry slightly before watering again, as soggy soil may cause the plant to rot.

Give it full sun and don’t overwater! Also avoid over-fertilizing. Too much fertilizer will result in a lot of growth, but less flavor.

The leaves and flowers of scented geraniums are edible. Thanks to the essential oils in their leaves, they lend not only decorative touches but also a fine aroma to meat dishes, salads and desserts. Varieties with a lemon aroma add zest to salads, sorbets or tea.
Many grow near streams in their native habitats, but generally ‘less is more’ is a good guideline for watering these plants. They do not like to be damp at all.
Herb Description and Taste
This variety has a strong citrus fragrance.
Plant in a sunny area and keep soil moist. Pruning off the tallest flowers as soon as possible will encourage foliage growth and keep the plant going strong. The leaves should be picked when the plant reaches 6 to 8 inches tall. When harvest early in the morning, the leaves are juicer because it’s when the concentration of aromatic oils are at their highest.
